It’s time for Cardwell’s Big Xmas Weekend!
Are You Ready?
BOTH Perry Como and Michael Buble had hits with the song, It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas.
And that exactly what it’s like at Cardwell Garden Centre – especially on their Big Christmas Weekend coming up this Saturday and Sunday.
On both November 27 and 28 there’s a fantastic festive celebration at the popular garden centre with loads of fun activities for all ages.
Santa’s Grotto and Carnival will be in full swing and you don’t need to book if your child would like to meet Santa – just turn up on the day.
There’s also a prize Treasure Hunt, a Rudolph mascot making a guest appearance throughout the weekend and ten per cent off Christmas products.
On Saturday there will be entertainment between 10am and 1pm from a Salvation Army Brass Band and from 1pm to 3pm the Riverside Youth Band will also be performing. And in Cardwell’s Patio Restaurant, between 2pm and 4pm, the Ardgowan Singers will be in full voice.
The following day, the Clyde Coast Fiddlers will be in the centre to entertain visitors with a selection of toe-tapping tunes between 2pm and 4pm.
A big selection of freshly-cut real Christmas trees will be delivered to Cardwell on time for the Big Weekend and as always, they’ll be really popular with those wishing a tradition-style tree for their homes.
Cardwell retail general manager, Paul Carmichael said: “Just like singer, Brenda Lee we’ll all be rockin’ around the Christmas tree this weekend.
“We’re ready to welcome everyone to Cardwell, so they can really get into the Christmas spirit with all the activities we’ve got lined up for both the kids and the grown-ups.
“We’ve even got a special Christmas menu in our Patio Café.”
Santa’s Grotto and Carnival is open every weekend between 10am and 4.30pm until the end of November.
Then every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday between 1.30pm to 4.30pm and weekends 10am to 4.30pm during December up to Christmas Eve.
