The Bites of the Round Table – our restaurant’s outside seating area re-opens

If you’ll pardon the pun, we’ve got our own take on the legend of King Arthur… and it’s a tale called The Bites of the Round Table!

Yes folks, we’ve now opened the area outside our popular Patio Restaurant for visitors to sit at a table and enjoy their delicious takeaway food.

There will be ten tables, with four seats at each table for customers of our Patio Restaurant takeaway service.

The tables will be configured to make sure there is a two-metre space between each one so we can maintain social distancing.

Cardwell managing director, Drew Gallagher said: “Slowly, but surely we’re making our way on the road back to some kind of normality.

“Thanks to the Scottish Government relaxing lockdown rules, we’re able to open up the area outside the Patio Restaurant for people to sit and enjoy the fantastic food and refreshments they have bought there.

“The array of sandwiches, toasties, Panini’s, baked potatoes and of course, our selection of tasty home baking has been very popular since we started a takeaway service.

“We’re sticking to a two-metre distancing between tables, so that our visitors can feel safe when they pay us a visit.

“And I’m sure they’ll enjoy sitting at our tables outside the Patio Restaurant with a pleasant outlook of all our plants, shrubs and bushes in the garden centre.”
