Breakfast with Pirate Jake
YOUNGSTERS are getting the chance to jump aboard ship and have breakfast with the famous Pirate Jake.
Cardwell Garden Centre will become a Pirates’ cove as Jake pays them a visit to have some fun with the kids.
Breakfast with Pirate Jake is on Saturday and Sunday, May 27 and 28 between 9.30am and 11am and he’s promising lots of games and activities.
As well as getting breakfast with Jake, in the Patio Restaurant, there will be storytelling, craft activities making Pirate hats and a treasure hunt looking for Pirate flags.
And before the children head down the gangplank to head for home and dry land, they’ll be presented with chocolate gold coins, a cutlass and a Pirate Goodie bag filled with a colouring book, crayons, a game, stickers, door hanger, jigsaw, a Pirates mask and finger puppet.
All this costs only £8.95 and you can book a place for Breakfast with Pirate Jake by phoning 01475 521536 or calling in to Cardwell Garden Centre’s information desk.
Jake’s bosun on board his Pirate ship is Cardwell’s retail general manager, Paul Carmichael, who says: “We’ve put together a fabulous treasure chest of fun and activities for youngsters and they’ll just love having breakfast and hanging out with Pirate Jake.
“And Jake says if everyone doesn’t leave with a smile on their face, he’ll make me walk the plank!”
