Breakfast with Santa
Have Breakfast With Santa at Cardwell Garden Centre
YOUNGSTERS are being invited to join Santa Claus for breakfast at the popular Cardwell Garden Centre.
And as well as a freshly-cooked hot breakfast at their own family table in the centre’s Patio Café, children will hear Santa tell them a story, take part in a festive Treasure Hunt and receive a personally-labelled Christmas gift.
The Breakfast with Santa event takes place between 10am and 11am every weekend from Saturday, November 28 until Sunday, December 20 and also weekdays between Monday, December 21 and Christmas Eve, December 24.
Activities at Breakfast with Santa will be in line with the Scottish Government’s current coronavirus guidelines with social distancing and groups of no more than four people from two households being served at their own table.
Cardwell’s retail manager, Paul Carmichael said: “We’re trying to make the run-up to Christmas as fun and enjoyable for families as in previous years –despite the current restrictions.
“We’ve also got plenty other festive attractions for youngsters to enjoy at Cardwell, like the Santa Express train, a sELFie Land like the North Pole where family photos can be taken.
“Santa will also be on a balcony, just inside the entrance to the centre, to greet and wave to children every weekend from noon till 4pm and every day from December 21 to Christmas Eve.
“We’re also making sure it’s safe to come along to Cardwell, as we’ve a host of measures in place like social distancing, hand sanitisers for customer, enhanced hygiene regime, a one-way system to get around the centre and both staff and visitors should wear a face covering when they visit us.”
