We can help make your garden bloomin’ great!
Today is National Flower Day in the USA and it’s time to join with our American cousins and get planting so your garden is a riot of colour.
We’ve got all you need to make sure your garden looks bloomin’ great!
Our horticulturist, Brian Hawthorn has this advice for all you green-fingered gardeners out there. He says:
“Bring some early colour to your garden or patio by planting potted spring bulbs such as narcissus, tulips, dwarf iris along with hardy shrubs and bedding plants.
“Japanese azaleas, dwarf rhododendron, tete-a-tete, pansies, violets and primroses are particularly good to plant in spring.”
“Now is also the time to plant hardy perennials, like lupins and hostas, as these will provide form, foliage and flowers year after year.”
