Cardwell helps care home residents make their garden grow
RESIDENTS at a Greenock care home have been given a helping hand to make their garden grow.
Staff from Cardwell Garden Centre visited the home in Eldon Street after bosses at the centre agreed to donate bags of compost and a variety of plants and flowers.
As well as brightening up the patio area, the materials donated by Cardwell will be used to keep residents active as they plant and care for the flowers throughout the summer.
Cardwell’s retail general manager, Paul Carmichael said: “Hopefully we’ll get some good weather this summer and the residents will be able to stay active planting the flowers and sit out in the sunshine enjoying the colourful display.”
