Hop along to Cardwell and meet the Easter Bunny!
Youngsters are being given the chance to hop along to Cardwell Garden Centre to have breakfast with the Easter Bunny.
And yesterday one of the centre’s restaurant staff, Ainsley McGovern, from Greenock was given the task of looking after the Easter Bunny when it made a surprise visit to check out the garden centre.
Staff at Cardwell have organised a host of events during the Easter Weekend, Saturday and Sunday, April 20 and 21, including the hugely popular Family Easter Bunny Breakfast.
Youngsters can sit down to a traditional hot breakfast, hear a story from the Easter Bunny, receive a chocolate Easter egg, take part in a Bunny Hunt looking for real bunny rabbits and enjoy Easter-themed craft activities.
Log on to www.cardwellgardencentre.co.uk to book your child a place having breakfast with the Easter Bunny between 9.30am and 11am on both the Saturday and Sunday for only £9.95.
And throughout the weekend there will be lots of fun for all visitors to Cardwell to enjoy with a bouncy castle, face painting, kids arts and crafts, an Easter Bunny Hunt and entertainment from the Clydeside Singers.
Cardwell’s retail general manager, Paul Carmichael said: “Youngsters get really egg-cited when they meet the Easter Bunny, at Cardwell.
“Everyone has lots of fun and already places at the special breakfast are being quickly booked up.
“There’s lots going on a Cardwell throughout the Easter Weekend and we’re expecting lots of people to hop along!”
