We’re ready to re-open our Patio Café
We’ve got some soup-er news for visitors to Cardwell – our popular Patio Cafe re-opens for indoor sit-down dining on Monday, April 26.
All your favourite dishes are back on the menu after the Scottish Government eased the country’s coronavirus restrictions and we’re ready to welcome diners when we open between 10am and 4pm, seven days a week.
During the past few weeks we’ve only been able to offer visitors a carry-out service, which will continue to operate even though we can now go the full bhoona with breakfasts, lunches and afternoon teas.
So, you can look forward to a tasty steak pie, some fabulous fish and chips and delicious Daily Specials alongside all the other Patio Cafe favourites, like soup, scampi, macaroni cheese and hamburgers, as well as a variety of sandwiches, toasties, baguettes, baked potatoes and Paninis.
And let’s not forget our famous home baking with scones, strawberry tarts and meringues.
To make sure everyone stays safe, we’ve reconfigured the tables in the restaurant so they are each two metres apart and we’ll be following the Government’s health guidelines to protect everyone from the Covid virus.
Cardwell’s retail general manager, Paul Carmichael said: “It’s great that we’re all getting back to some form of normality. Lots of people have been asking when the Patio Café is re-opening. Well, that day is coming very soon and we’re looking forward to welcoming customers regular and new.”
